VOC Radio is BACK and we re-Launch with a vengence. This week's guest is Dan Crenshaw. US Navy SEAL (LtCDR Ret.) combat wounded Veteran who enrolled into Harvard Graduate School following his medical retirement after serving 10 years with the Teams. Soon after his graduation with his Masters in Government Policy, a new opportunity presented itself to run for one of the few Congressional seats for his Hometown base of Houston, TX.
Positioned as a "long-shot" candidate, Dan employed his tenacious SEAL Team work ethic establishing a fast grass-roots momentum. In March, the election for the Republican Candidacy saw him pitted against two well-funded establishment candidates as well as an additional field of seven more candidates. On election day, Dan established himself in a very strong 3rd place after early voting and the election day turnout voted in large mass for Dan. A majority position was prevented and when the smoke cleared, the top two candidates by vote were Dan and what would now be his main competitor.
Dan joins us in our NEW STUDIOS in the Dynamic Munitions offices. This is a show you do NOT want to miss. We talk about Dan's Navy years, his transition, his time at Harvard and what motivated him to pursue a new career in Public Service.
