"The first step in empowering someone is to believe in them, to make them feel seen and heard" Yousra Mshmsh, the current regional manager leading Peace First,  joins Eniko Toth on the podcast.    

-- Yousra Mshmsh is a computer engineer by education, an artist by talent and a youth activist by choice, whose greatest passion lies in community work. She works towards building underprivileged communities through social entrepreneurship, technologies, and dialogue, Yousra participated in several peace-making projects focusing on gender-based violence, social discrimination, bullying, and lack of opportunities. She has been leading a project that empowers kids in resolving injustices in their local communities by using the practices of changemaking. In addition to her youth-focused work, Yousra has several years of professional experience in supporting start-ups and social enterprises to accelerate their growth and leverage their success. Yousra is also a member of the UN office of counter-terrorism youth unit working with a global team of changemakers on designing international peace-focused youth programs and materials.   

--In this episode, we are going to talk about youth engagement vs youth inclusion, community activism and peacebuilding. Yousra is such an inspirational soul who has already done so much good for the world. I cannot wait for our conversation to get started and hear her sharing all her motivational thoughts on building the future we need.
