Kathy Tu is an audio producer. Currently, she is senior executive producer of "99% Invisible."Previously, Tu was head of production for Wondery Media. Before that, she was a supervising producer for the New York Times. Before that, she was at New York Public Radio, where she created, co-hosted, and produced the "Nancy" podcast.Tu received her B.A. in International Development Studies from the University of California Los Angeles, her M.A. in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School, and her J.D. from Northeastern University.

Julia Angwin is an investigative journalist who specializes in data-driven journalism, and the effect of technology, specifically algorithms, on culture. She is co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Markup.Previously, Angwin was a senior reporter on technology at ProPublica, and technology reporter at the New York bureau of The Wall Street Journal.Angwin's first book, "Stealing MySpace: The Battle to Control the Most Popular Website in America," was published in 2009, and her second book, "Dragnet Nation," was published in 2014.In 2003, Angwin was one of The Wall Street Journal's staff reporters whose stories were acknowledged with a Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting.

Elise Hu is journalist. She is currently working as a reporter for NPR.Hu began journalism as an intern at WFAA-TV in Dallas between high school and college. She was a founding journalist at the Texas Tribune and a reporter for KVUE-TV and WYFF-TV in Texas. She joined NPR as an international correspondent and Seoul bureau chief for NPR.In addition to reporting for NPR, Hu is also a guest co-anchor on Tech News Today on TWIT, an adjunct instructor for Georgetown University, and an adviser and blogger for the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. She hosts a video series on NPR called "Elise Tries."Hu was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her B.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri.

Gregory Warner is the host of NPR's Rough Translation. Previously, he was the East Africa correspondent for NPR. Before joining NPR, he was a freelance reporter who specialized in conflict zones around the world. His work has appeared on This American Life, Marketplace's "Working" series, and Radiolab.Warner has also worked as senior reporter for American Public Media's Marketplace. His musical journey into the world of medical coding won a Best News Feature award from the Third Coast International Audio Festival.Warner has won a Peabody Award and awards from Edward R. Murrow, New York Festivals, AP, and PRNDI. He earned his degree in English from Yale University.
