The Answer Is YOU!God has not called us to just maintain, he has called us to obtain victory over evil! But how? And what? What specific evil cause can our small, but fierce, little church take a stand against and defeat? Evil is everywhere. Life is difficult. Life is suffering. Life is pain, sorrow and watching the ones we love die. Life is full of sinful choices. And sinful choices lead to deadly consequences. We have all experienced death, disease and decay. Evil is all around us.Fortunately for us there is a solution. There is something that has been done and there is something that can be done to help eliminate the suffering in this world. Hope has arrived in the world, not as idea but as a person. Jesus didn’t just die for us, he also ministered to us. And I believe that in 2018, God is calling us to a daunting, but possible task. We are to fight for the weak, be a voice for the voiceless and stand up for the those who are helpless. But here is the best part: You are the answer. Yes, Jesus is the ultimate answer, but you and I are the answer to help eradicate physical pain and suffering on planet earth. In the incredible prayer that Jesus taught us, it says:“Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven...”Matthew 6:9-10 (NLT)May your will be done on EARTH as it is in heaven. Our job is to bring the kingdom of God to earth as much as we possibly can until Christ returns.
