You can tell that they aren’t involved in writing the scripts or editing the podcast anymore. I’ve never seen a podcast that has so much input from random producers before too. There’s stuff where I just wonder why it’s not edited out. Their whole company is full of friends and family instead of actual producers, researchers, editors. They platform problematic people (Graham Hancock). Kendall said that “Nazi’s were low key woke” in an episode. Josh and Kendall constantly bicker, no it’s not banter. It’s straight up awkward bickering which why would you not edit out? They bicker about pointless things. A lot of their episodes are ripped straight from documentaries or Wikipedia. The Lauren Spier case is nearly identical to the subreddit’s write up on the case. I can’t get over that awfully made documentary, I felt so bad for the family. It was so badly edited and thrown together. I remember them saying that it was coming by the end of the year when the end of the year was almost up. They said that they didn’t have much material to work with, then why do a documentary? Most of the comments were just people saying how bad it was, most people couldn’t even make it a half hour in before quitting. Then after it was released they didn’t even bother sharing resources of how to help it was all just reposting people being excited for the podcast and all about them. Kendall eventually reposted someone else sharing a petition. They constantly go on vacation and don’t bother to say anything until the day of. Why not film episodes ahead of time? I think they need to cut back on shows or the amount of episodes produced. Their hearts don’t seem to fully be in it anymore. It be one thing if all shows were suffering but Lights Out is still really good while the other shows suck.
