Every 210,000 coins orroughly four years, the block reward of Bitcoin is cut in half. Every infrastructure player in Bitcoin has to find ways to make money on transaction volume instead of the block reward. The bootstrapping subsidy was designed to help the Bitcoin ecosystem develop to the point where a natural economy would take hold.  

Fifteen years in, the Bitcoin experiment is getting near thepoint where real economic transactions need to take the place of subsidy-chasing. Bitcoin (BSV) is no weirder than HTML for the Internet. Most users don't understand how the Internet works, but they use it. Same thing here. Huge businesses can be built using blockchain data and payment rails, without you thinking about it.
