Writing a review to Mabel is like explaining sentimental love poetry to a total stranger. First of all, the podcast is deeply poetic - some words, monologs and alliterations taste like honey and roses on your tongue. For example:Luna was all light and all flowers and all song. Those things are true, but they aren’t... true in exclusivity. They are not true only for themselves. Light can burn, song can madden. Flowers can poison.Mostly it's a fairy-tale-style family drama with sensual lesbian romance but there is so much more to it. I love the atmosphere, sounds and songs the most. However, a few times I dropped it, getting annoyed by repetitions or absence of the general plot. Like a fairy, Mabel often confuses you. At some point, you lose the sense of what's happening at all. If you're after poetry, fairies, songs and lesbian sensual romance, you would like it but take breaks and don't try listening in one go. If the plot is important to you and you want dynamics, listen to something else.
