Dr. Saida Grundy is a feminist sociologist of race and ethnicity studies. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Sociology and African American & Black Diaspora Studies at Boston University. Her research focuses on formations and ideologies of gender within male Black elites. Grundy is a frequent contributor to The Atlantic. Her first book, “RespectablePolitics and Paradox in Making the Morehouse Man,” was published in 2022.Grundy received her B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Spelman College and her M.A. in Sociology and her Ph.D. in Sociology and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan. | Guest |
