I've listened to season 1, & am just finishing season 2. The podcast is interesting, to be sure, but the reporting is super biased. From the start of season 2, it's incredibly obvious that the podcast's goal is to free Curtis Flowers, rather than finding the truth. From befriending the Flowers family & attending family functions, to the music chosen for segments of the podcast, the podcast has chosen its side from the beginning, & all the social justice warriors who listen to it have just jumped right on board. The podcast never even considers that Flowers might actually be guilty. Moreover, media should not be influencing court cases. As numerous attorneys state in the podcast, cases should be decided in the courts, by professionals, with all the evidence presented. I am troubled that biased media is interfering more & more in legal decisions. The consumers of podcasts should understand that they won't get all the facts from listening to a podcast, & have no place to form conclusions about the guilt or innocence of someone based on a podcast. And they certainly have no place to act on those uninformed conclusions & petition to have a convicted felon released.
