I found out about this show last month and listened to both seasons over the course of about two weeks. I was really impressed by the way this show is innovating and pushing the medium, using elements of spoken word, audio drama, hip hop, and cultural commentary. George the Poet talks about race and class in the UK, as well as the political situation of his home country, Uganda, and his relationship to both countries. He also presents a longform meditation on the creative process and the relationship between artist, art, and audience that I found quite compelling. I don't know if there will be a third season of this show but I look forward to seeing what George the Poet will do next.
