Today's Talk: HTTP Headers for the Responsible Developer by Stefan Judis
Stefan Judis is a German front-end developer working for Contentful. He explains that the world wide web should be safe, affordable, and respectful for everyone. One way this can be achieved is by using the right HTTP headers in requests and responses. Thus, in this talk, which he gave at GOTO Berlin 2019, Stefan presents eleven HTTP headers that can help with this goal – many of which are lesser known albeit very interesting to know about.
The HTTP headers that he went over were the following:
- Strict-Transport-Security
- Content-Security-Policy
- Set-Cookie
- Cache-Control
- Accept-Encoding
- Accept
- Accept-CH
- Save-Data
- Preload
- Feature-Policy
- Do-Not-Track
