Dr. Krishnendu Ray is a food studies scholar. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Food Studies at New York University Steinhardt.Previously, Dr. Ray was a faculty member and an Acting Associate Dean for Curriculum Development at The Culinary Institute of America.Dr. Ray has published numerous papers. His first book, "The Migrant’s Table: Meals and Memories in Bengali-American Households," was published in 2004.Dr. Ray received M.Sc. in Political Science from Delhi University and his Ph.D. in Sociology from SUNY Binghamton.
