Karen is the mother of three adult children and has battled her share of adversities. Drawing from her own experiences as well as those of others, she is dedicated to helping others find their way through difficult times. Her book, Emergent Soul: Rising From Life's Darkest Moments, tells the story of how she emerged from some of her most challenging moments transformed and inspired. The podcast series entitled Emergent Soul Conversations offers conversations with everyday people who have overcome extraordinary challenges.
