Decent content. A few issues I have, however: Heather seems quite biased and has little respect for the people who are investigating the crimes she is highlighting. She is condescending of those in law enforcement. Heather is hasty to judge and assume without knowing all of the details, and operates under the notion that the public is entitled to any and all information pertaining to an open case/investigation. While her opinions and assumptions garner some truth, she lacks much of the fundamental knowledge regarding the criminal justice system and its operations. Sure, she may do her research, but that does not make her a scholar by any measure. I guess I prefer a professional, insider perspective regarding these types of cases instead of that provided by someone who has no experience on the matter, but to each their own. I find her speculation to be tactless and accusatory. She speaks a lot of due process, but never the assumption that one is presumed innocent until proven guilty. It feels as though she has made herself the judge as far as the court of public opinion is concerned. If you are interested in truth instead of speculation, I recommend you continue searching for a different podcast.
