John Rhys Harris is a journalist, writer and critic.Harris's articles have appeared in Select, Q, Mojo, Shindig!, Rolling Stone, Classic Rock, The Independent, the New Statesman, The Times, and The Guardian. His first book, "The Last Party: Britpop, Blair and the Demise of English Rock," was published in 2003. His second book, "So Now Who Do We Vote For?," was published in 2005; his third, ""The Dark Side of the Moon: The Making of the Pink Floyd Masterpiece," was also published in 2005; and his fourth book, "Hail! Hail! Rock'n'Roll," was published in 2009. In addition to writing, he often appears on television programs and is a pundit on BBC Two's "Newsnight Review." In 2010, he created the video series "Anywhere but Westminster" for The Guardian, and in 2018 he wrote and presented a four-part BBC Radio 4 series, "Tyranny of Story."
